Our team of highly skilled electricians and electrical engineers cater for design work, Class and MSA Surveys, power management upgrades, custom PLC control systems and complete alarms and monitoring packages. We are an authorised system integrator for DEIF products, and are New Zealand’s preferred integrator for DEIF power management upgrades and new design packages in the marine sector.
Our team of enthusiastic staff are willing to engage projects of any size, and strive to provide solutions where others cannot. Our high standard of workmanship is enforced on all projects and designs that we conduct. We provide after hours call-outs, project services nationally and internationally to an assortment of superyachts, pleasure vessels and commercial vessel customers and can often attend international job requests in a one day turn around.

Jason has near to 20 years experience in the electrical industry, this time spans across the industrial, marine and automation sectors. Jason opened Hybrid Electrical in 2019 and has built a team of skilled and passionate technicians, who prioritize quality, technical solutions, and strong customer relationships.

Our manager Vance began his career as an electrician onboard vessels in New Zealand's Navy, he quickly rose to a team leader and supervisor role. Vance has progressed into the manager position at Hybrid Electrical, and is also heavily involved in our electrical design and PLC programming work.
