Hybrid Electrical has more than 15 years’ experience in the electrical industry, and our diverse skill set lets us accommodate any needs that our customers have.

We provide specialist services for marine vessels ranging from pleasure and commercial vessels, to super yachts. Access to all major marinas, the ferry terminal and Auckland Port allows us to undertake breakdown work, maintenance, surveys and refit work on these vessels. Generators play a crucial role in providing the main or back-up source of power, both on water and land. We offer full support in testing, repairs, installation, maintenance and programming for generators and their control systems.

Our staff have completed specialist training at international locations to attain this accreditation. A 70 meter sailing vessel had huge issues with reactive load and current sharing between their two generators when connected in parallel. We completed a full test report and diagnosed the cause to be one faulty Basler AVR and incorrect AVR settings.
