We provide project work and breakdown repairs across New Zealand, the Pacific Islands and Australia. We provide turn-key marine solutions, including Marine Classification design approval, custom control panels and hardware packages. These packages can include a combination of gensets, shaft generators, shore connections and bus ties. We can also accomodate hybrid vessel solutions, utilising PV and BES controllers.
DEIF Retrofit
As the older multi line 3 and multi line 300 hardware range near the end of their supported life span, upgrading these systems is an excellent way to modernise and future proof power management systems. The Ie and other ranges of hardware offer modern software, hardware and added cyber security features. Upgrading older DEIF hardware to newer ranges can be completed seamlessly with the correct level of planning. Hybrid Electrical can also. retrofit DEIF to existing installations in place of other OEM brands in accordance with flag state and marine classification society compliance.
DEIF Repair and Software Update
While DEIF products and systems are bulletproof, maintaining systems is critical. Hybrid Electrical offers repair and update services for DEIF products. This includes planned maintenance on hardware and software, including software and firmware updates, periodic functional testing and periodic survey and harbour acceptance testing. We can supply a range of spares and complete on-site repairs to failed equipment.
Multi line 300 controllers, PPU300 and PPM300
Designed for applications in the marine and offshore industry, DEIF’s innovative PPM 300 solution is a versatile, intelligent generator control platform.
Incorporating an extensive range of control, protection and supervision functions, PPM 300 applications range from generator control and protection to engineered power management solutions developed for diesel generators (including emergency diesel generators), shaft generators, battery energy storage, shore connections, and bus tie breakers.
PPM 300 power management systems meet and maintain set power requirements and guarantee stable operation. PPM 300 power management systems also incorporate market-leading fuel optimisation technology as well as ABP, Advanced Blackout Prevention, designed specially for Dynamic Positioning (DP) plants.

IE150
Cost-effective & flexible controller for coastal, harbour, and inland vessels. The iE 150 Marine makes life easier for the system designer and user alike: One single controller model comes with all the necessary software to control and protect a diesel generator (including non-synchronising emergency and standalone gensets), an energy storage system, a shore connection, or a bus tie breaker. The device offers engine drive functionality for engines, pumps, and sprinklers, and you can quickly reconfigure it for different applications from the display or using the PC tool.
IE250
Flexible and secure controller for oceangoing vessels. The iE 250 Marine sets a new standard for control systems, combining high-capacity processing with a platform that adapts to tomorrow’s challenges. IE350

IE converters

Renewable controllers, ASC and IE series
The ASC 150 Storage provides effective, flexible, and scalable energy storage system (ESS) control with a wide range of options for greenfield and brownfield hybrid power applications. It can be used on its own for ESS/hybrid rental or integrated in third-party plant control solutions or a DEIF power management system. The controller optimises the battery power, to save fuel and maximise green penetration.
DEIF AGI touch screen
A comprehensive HMI solution, DEIF’s AGI 400 series connects to all DEIF Multi-line controllers, as well as third party electronics, via standard defined communication protocols, featuring functionalities which eliminate the need for other instruments, thus saving you both space and wiring.
The AGI 400 series is intended for visualisation and active control in multiple applications managed on board maritime vessels or platforms, where it provides full graphical overviews and user-friendly touch screen control with a quality display that is easily readable even at sharp angles. Monitor or control multiple setups simultaneously, or share data via Ethernet connections, effectively enabling the DEIF HMI to be used as a small SCADA system. AGI 400 supports multiple user levels, and LAN clients, ensuring user control in several levels.
